DoD Military Working Dog (MWD) Program
Description:
As the DoD Executive Agent, the Secretary of the Air Force is responsible for the DoD Military Working Dog (MWD) Program and shall develop uniform program standards and procedures; manage the DoD MWD program through the AF Director of Security Forces and Force Protection; exercise oversight of DoD MWD program manager; monitor MWD procurement/ distribution/ inventory management/final disposition by the DoD Dog Center; ensure MWD users establish operational guidance/standards, and documents funding requirements/identifies sources of funding to comply with DoD MWD program directive.
