Specified DoD Support to Scouting Organizations and the American Red Cross
Description:
As the DoD Executive Agent, the Secretary of the Army is responsible for performing the audit of the annual ARC accounts and prepare and submit an annual report; coordinate support to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. (GSUSA) according to DoDI 1015.9; provide necessary deployment support to the American Red Cross (ARC) according to an approved DoD and ARC MOU. Initially, the Secretary of the Army will cover costs, except those paid by the ARC. The Secretary of the Army will then be reimbursed, upon request, by the entity directly benefiting from the ARC support.
