Description:
As the DoD Executive Agent, the Director, DSCA is responsible for: exercising administrative authority and is assigned the responsibility for supporting the Regional Centers with programming, budgeting and financial management of the resources necessary to support the operation of the Regional Centers, to include all operation and maintenance costs (including personnel costs and base operations support costs), and with providing civilian personnel to staff the Regional Centers, including providing for military and civilian human resources services support and personnel management for the Regional Centers. This applies to all Centers except that the Secretary of the Army shall remain responsible for base operations and military and civilian human resources services support for the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in accordance with DoD Directive 5100.3. The following centers are supported: George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies Africa Center for Strategic Studies Near East-South Asia Center for Strategic Studies
